You will be part of a team working to invest in growing Canadian tech startups. The role presents an opportunity to learn about the venture capital industry and gain experience in a wide range of fields including finance, marketing, event management, and operations. You will be exposed to innovative technology, interact with impressive entrepreneurs who are leaders in their fields, and build a network of founders, investors, and ecosystem players from throughout the tech world.

Business Process Improvement: Evaluate the best applications of AI technologies to Graphite processes.

Communication: Engage with appropriate messaging on social media and through the Graphite website. Develop marketing materials and external communications. Assist in planning and executing firm events.

Data Analytics: Provide support to investment team members as needed particularly around due diligence. Perform portfolio analytics to produce thought leadership and manage team resources.

Process Improvement: Assist in the development of resources and templates for portfolio companies.

What You Need to Succeed
This is an ideal role for a student looking to build a career in the venture capital industry. The ideal candidate has the following attributes:

Willingness to learn, personal accountability and commitment to achieving and exceeding goals and objectives
Desire to work in a fast-paced, VC environment
Ability to flourish in a hybrid/virtual environment
Excellent spoken and written communication in English; effective in French is a plus.
Superior project / organizational coordination skills
Self-motivated – able to take initiative and work independently or as a team member
Solid understanding of social media.
Ability to deliver creative content and design is an asset
