This course explores the lived experiences of Indigenous Peoples in tech—past and present—and the opportunities that arise when Indigenous and settler knowledge systems intersect. You’ll also reflect on your own role in shaping a tech sector that values and elevates Indigenous voices.

By the end of this course, you’ll be able to:

  • Assess how historical injustices continue to shape the experiences of Indigenous Peoples in the tech sector.
  • Integrate Indigenous Knowledges and values into your workplace, contributing to ethical and innovative approaches in technology.
  • Implement specific strategies to support inclusion and cultural safety for Indigenous colleagues, fostering workplaces grounded in strong, reciprocal relationships.

This course consists of four modules. At the end of the module, you’ll receive a badge and a certificate of completion that you can share on your social media channels.
