In this workshop, if you possess very limited Excel skills, you will learn more complex functions that are commonly used for analysis. Using a test data set, you will be able to manipulate the data with pivot tables and learn to illustrate your analysis with different graphs. 

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Identify basic Excel elements, comfortably navigate a spreadsheet’s basic tools and interface, and understand the different Excel data types and formatting options
  • Know how to use common Excel functions for everyday purposes such as SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, and MORE
  • Learn how to manage and organize data and work with tables
  • Create PivotTables and PivotCharts as the foundation for more advanced data analysis in Excel
